The mob took so long to get taken down because new legal frameworks had to be built namely RICO.
As far as I know not only has no U.S president EVER been charged with treason and if I'm not mistaken there's actually currently no legal framework to prosecute a president for treason. It's possible this was set up this way on purpose (Keeping in mind the founding fathers were freemasons). I have to wonder if a lot of this is all stall tactics while people like Rudy Giuliani and Jenna Elis build the legal infrastructure to go after Obama.
