The appeal is based on the unconstitutional actions of the Executive Branches in those two States… those issues must still be addressed.
It wont "change" the election result, but it when they rule that the EBs did violate the Constitution, it will prevent it happening again.
Anywhere.
(It will also deligitimize any Biden Presidency…)
