we know that it's not to be said that the Pope is arrested, if he were he'd have been replaced by a double, clearly. that's that I know.

it's a classical basicilica kind of architecture. Actually most people enjoy being in a big space like that and don't find it horid.
It should be for the public, though, becuase it's rather a very pricey look.
keeps all the trades people busy busy busy.
when I say 'it should be' I mean that traditionally such buildings are for public use. And if not, when a family tries to hide it, they have consequences later on . . . and the buildings end up that way anyway.
so the builders of such probably have an expectation that it's a show piece for the public.
and it's always bigger than it looks in the pictures.
