Wonder why anyone would care about this, in this day and age.
VoA was, back in it's hey day, the USA propaganda station with lots of long range shortwave transmitters. Back in the cold war, the Russians would listen to VOA on SW radios, against their laws btw, to know what was 'truth' in the world.
These guys are like the BBC back in SW days.
Most of this died when the internet came along. You didn't need a shortwave radio anymore to get world news.
It was more CIA driven along with State.
It was what 'we' wanted 'the oppressed' citizen of USSR and CCP to 'hear'. We shot 500KW of Shortwave power from our east coast beamed at Russia and West coast beamed at China and the other side of Russia

If the internet survives, then yes.
If shortwave, then no. None of our transmitters will transmit to CONUS. All of those were shut down 20 years go. You can't receive VoA in fly over country at all. There are some SW Transmitters in Tennesse that carry WWCR that you can get in flyover country. SW is a viable medium, but not many people have a SW receiver anymore.
