Watched the events in DC on the 6th, at the rally and the capitol, all day as they unfolded.
Was simultaneously lurking here.
Was tempted multiple times to post while events were occurring, but refrained.
1) Watched, as the Capitol building breach & mischief inside took place:
a. It was waaay to easy for "protestors" to "breach" barricades and enter the building itself. IT'S THE CAPITOL OF THE USA FOR CRYIN OUT LOUD! There were a million+ people in DC that day.
Capitol security plan for that day wasn't prepared to keep bldg secure?
Breach was to easy & looked coordinated.
b. Watched the so-called "coup" participants & "insurrectionist" = wandering around like a bunch dufuses.
That had to be the most inept insurrection/coup in history.
Looked like a bunch of larpers.

2) Since the 6th everything has been surreal.
The acceleration of authoritarian tyranny has been beyond parody of itself.
If being taken to 'The Precipice' & 'You Have to Show Them' is what is needed to wake up those still asleep:
Here We Are.
If you literally can't simply live your life, you realize what you've lost.
