HRC, Bill, James Woolsey & Laurence Rockefeller had a plan in the early 90s to make some sort of disclosure about ET life (not necessarily a truthful one).

As happened with Jimmy Carter's plans to say something big to the public on the subject, the whole idea ended up getting nixed.

I'm pretty sure the motivation to do this would have gone further than just getting votes from voters curious about alien life. They would have wanted to use public perception about ET life for some deeper purpose.

Ever since the first Spanish, Dutch and English colonists came to settle in North America, the Jews have considered this land to be theirs. They have passed this understanding down over the centuries.
