How to fix broken clearnet

This is what worked for me literally just now.

https://use.opendns.com/

^Go to this website and select your operating system and walk through the steps.

Google poisoned their DNS servers so certain "undesirable" sites like 8Kun wouldn't ever load up no matter how many times you typed the url in your browser (dummed down version for less tech literate/boomer lurkers)

So all you have to do is change your DNS servers to a non-Google DNS(most ISPs/routers default to GoogleDNS).

Takes literally 30 seconds to get the OpenDNS servers from that link and change them out and now I'm clearnet posting after being on Tor.

The new OpenDNS server addresses to put in are 208.67.222.222 in the Preferred DNS server and 208.67.220.220 in the Alternate DNS.

After you do all that, bring up a command prompt by clicking on Start, type in "cmd.exe" and then right-clicking and "run as administrator" to open an elevated command prompt.

Then inside that command prompt, type in:

ipconfig /flushdns

^then hit enter so it clears out your old GoogleDNS cache and open up a new browser window/tab with 8kun in it to make sure you're up and running.

It was literally in notables a few days ago Google was going to poison the DNS but I have been traveling and just now getting home to do this.
