Earlier anon posted about possible paraquat poisoning masquerading as "COVID-19". Reminded me of this story out of South Korea some time ago. There is an hypothesis that consumer products could be causing poisoning that resembles "COVID-19".

It is to my sorrow that I must admit that some Asian countries have done very much better than the US agencies in protecting their populations. I think back to Japan protecting their people from HIV in blood products in addition to the above story. I think it is because residents of the United States can have no trust in their agencies that we often do not listen to public health recommendations or else we observe that people following the "rules" (taking the vaccines, for example) fare much worse than those that ignore or resist them.
