Except they are lampstands,

as is evident by the Revelation's interpretation thereof as congregations.

The two witnesses cannot be simply and literally one single man.

Plus,

they are also olive trees,

and in Zechariah we find that olive tree as being Israel.

So an olive tree is a nation.

The two lampstands are congregations,

and they are of two "nations",

one being from among the Jews,

the other from among every nation and language of the Gentiles.

The Body of Christ is made up of believers from among these two types of peoples,

from among the Jews,

and from among the Gentiles.

Neither method is wrong. There was a recent study that determined two spaces does indeed make it easier to read (note my use of two, and the quote below with the use of one).

"Increased spacing has been shown to help facilitate processing in a number of other reading studies,” Johnson explained to me by email, using two spaces after each period. “Removing the spaces between words altogether drastically hurts our ability to read fluently, and increasing the amount of space between words helps us process the text.”
