Millions hear 'huge explosion' as RAF Typhoon breaks sound barrier while scrambling to intercept Learjet from Germany

Plane was flying from Germany to Birmingham UK & 'lost comms'. Fighters intercepted and established comms & escorted plane into Stanstead.

Stanstead Airport is the airport used if there is a suspected hijack/terrorist incident on a plane.

That seems odd… Intercepted en route Germany-Birmingham UK landed Stanstead now heading SW over the Atlantic nr Azores. Bit of an odd routing dontcha think? Someone removed from plane at Stanstead perhapsand now off to collect its next ride?
