What if U1 was cover for smuggling and sell of an American nuclear warhead? The entire U1 narrative was smoke as well as creating a trail that could eventually be used to trace the uranium back to Russia. Move it through Russia and eventually it winds up at a secret nuclear facility in Syria. My theory is that they figured out how to alter the isotopic signature much like they have figured out how make a cyber attack look like it originated from somewhere else.
