And I flew there for almost 2 years. You have one of the largest fleet replacement squadrons for the Navy/Marine Corps there (VFA-106) training new hornet pilots, along with many operational squadrons. They are literally training all the time. Squadrons could be getting ready to go the boat (bouncing at Fentress) or working up for a deployment, or all kinds of other training.

All I'm saying is that when I was there, it was not uncommon to have heavy flying schedules all day, as late as midnight. There is a lot of flying going on there. Sometimes it's busier than others depending on unit training and deployment schedules.
