Sometimes there is great power in embracing the suck. For example recently I have been focused on making sure all the Karens out there have their masks on properly, and that they are spaced out by a minimum of six feet (I have a tape measure). If their mask doesn't look to be exactly straight or if I see a gap at the side I make sure they correct it right then and there. I provide helpful advice to those ones that don't seem to have a high quality mask. I remind them to wash their hands if I think they look like the type that might forget. I've decided to do my civic duty enforcing the public health advisories to the very best of my autistic and highly observational ability. I think it's helping in many ways, not only reducing the spread of covid but also helping Karens to be better.
