FBI Opens 170 Cases on Individuals Involved in Capitol Attack, Charges Dozens
Acting U.S. Attorney Michael Sherwin says the FBI has opened up 170 files and brought charges against 70 individuals involved in the January 6 attack on the U.S. Capitol. He says that lesser charges are being brought now while investigators and prosecutors build their cases and says that more serious charges are likely to be made, including "seditious and conspiracy charges."
