If the Capitol Police are under the direction of our elected officials, then wouldn't that mean the leaders of those officials Pelosi and McConnell be responsible for their lack of forethought? Wouldn't it technically be Pelosi and McConnell who are at fault for not providing the needed security measures. I mean President Trump did protect the Whitehouse when in was besieged by BLM and Antifa.
