There was an anon who posted a theory on this a few days ago. Had to do with the movie "White Squall" and how the skipper is put on trial after the storm hits, but acquitted on evidence.
It wouldn't surprise me if this happened, and as anon noted, it would have all of America glued to their TVs, computers, etc. Perfect opportunity for everyone to get red-pilled.
