Did Trump just check mate them?

1. Violence at capitol

2. Democrats call it domestic terrorism

3. Follow up protests occur and are similarly riotous

4. Trump invokes insurrection act

5. Military can now enforce domestic law

Is this why Pelosi moved to impeach and use 25th? She realized that Trump supporters are going to riot again and Trump will invoke insurrection act?

If he does, then the military would have a choice.

1. The insurrection is due to the people rioting.

2. The insurrection is due to the stolen election.

It would seem the military would be free to enforce the law however they see fit to put down the insurrection.

Could they arrest traitors and tell people to go home?
