Anons, I'd like to point out that we likely just had our MOAB. Except it wasn't us that dropped it, and it may not have even been one of our bombs; it may have been the work of our broader coalition, which is good news: Israel dropping a British bomb, perhaps.

Note that the MOAB isn't a "bunker-buster" type weapon–it's meant to explode at ground level or slightly above. But the British have a version that's meant for ground penetration. Coupled with the missles at the sight, you get enough power to cause a 2.6 earthquake.
Then again, maybe our bunker busters would have been enough. It's all food for thought.
