The cult uses threat of staged suicide to keep people in line.

First - they make you write a suicide note to your loved ones and sign it in your own hand writing. They will torture you to write it. If that doesn't work, they will torture your loved ones in front of you until you write it.

Then, you are sat down at your kitchen table and the note is placed in front of you.

They have a device made of leather and metal - that is strapped over your right arm and right shoulder and right hand and right trigger finger.

A loaded, cocked pistol is inserted into your hand, trigger finger on the trigger.

They slowly tighten down a screw mechanism, and the gun's barrel slowly advances towards your right temple.

They tell you to say your final words - make you say goodbye to your loved ones - and crank down your trigger finger. And it goes - click - and they laugh.

Repeat again and again until they are satisfied you are sufficiently traumatized.

The note is then handled with gloves, placed in a plastic sleeve, and placed in a briefcase with other notes for safekeeping. The idea being that - the next time - the gun will not go click.

So…who shot themselves with their right hand in their right temple with a suicide note in front of them written in their own handwriting? Open and shut case, right?…
