National Guard, DC

I did some digging, please take a look.

According to Army Times

"During a Thursday evening teleconference, McCarthy confirmed that all 6,200 troops are “on a minimum of a 30-day deployment” on Title 32 orders."

National Guard in DC are on 30 day deployment. Army Secretary Ryan McCarthy confirmed they are receiving Title 32 orders.

Title 32 means they are considered federal active duty for specific state missions and full-time Guard positions.

In the District of Columbia (DC), the national guard operates under THE PRESIDENT. The D.C. National Guard is the only National Guard that reports only to the president. (source wikipedia cuz lazy)

Also noteworthy, the Commanding General of District of Columbia, William J. Walker, has been selected by Trump on January 20 2017.
