Google Earth fag here. If someone knows anything about uranium processing, here's an interesting site in NE Syria (per Q's drop):

Odd layout for a military base (and it appears to be one based on green trucks and the chopper in the airfield to the west). What are all the white "hay bales" in the surrounding areas? I think that I see defensive and/or containment berms. Note the electrical substation. Anyone with insight?
