‘No such thing as election fraud?’ Texas political consultant ARRESTED for ballot harvesting after Project Veritas expos
A Texas political consultant has been arrested for voter fraud, after her actions were exposed in multiple Project Veritas videos, in which she admitted to ballot harvesting and being paid for “getting the Biden vote out.”
Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton announced the arrest of Raquel Rodriguez on Wednesday. In a public statement, Paxton called claims that there is no voter fraud “false and misleading.”
“Many continue to claim that there’s no such thing as election fraud. We’ve always known that such a claim is false and misleading, and today we have additional hard evidence. This is a victory for election integrity,” he said, going on to cite the Project Veritas videos as the reason for launching the criminal probe in the first place.
“For those in the news media who say there is no such thing as voter fraud and what we do is nothing more than an attempt to ‘undermine elections,’ TAKE A SEAT!” Project Veritas founder James O’Keefe wrote on Twitter in celebration of the news. He then directly called out members of the media who had refuted voter-fraud claims pushed by President Donald Trump and his supporters.

Authorities Take Down World's Largest Illegal Dark Web Marketplace
Europol on Tuesday said it shut down DarkMarket, the world's largest online marketplace for illicit goods, as part of an international operation involving Germany, Australia, Denmark, Moldova, Ukraine, the U.K.'s National Crime Agency (NCA), and the U.S. Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI).
At the time of closure, DarkMarket is believed to have had 500,000 users and more than 2,400 vendors, with over 320,000 transactions resulting in the transfer of more than 4,650 bitcoin and 12,800 monero — a sum total of €140 million ($170 million).
The illegal internet market specialized in the sales of drugs, counterfeit money, stolen or forged credit card information, anonymous SIM cards, and off-the-shelf malware.
In addition, the months-long intelligence operation also resulted in the arrest of a 34-year-old Australian national near the German-Danish border over the weekend, who is alleged to be the mastermind behind DarkMarket.

US targets Iranian foundations under Supreme Leader’s control in latest sanctions hit
The US has blacklisted two organizations controlled by Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, citing alleged corruption among Iran's elite as the reason for the Trump administration's latest sanctions against the country.
Washington announced sanctions against two "purportedly charitable billion-dollar" organizations, the Execution of Imam Khomeini's Order (EIKO) and Astan Quds Razavi (AQR), according to a Treasury Department statement on Wednesday.
"These institutions enable Iran's elite to sustain a corrupt system of ownership over large parts of Iran's economy," said Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin.
A spokesperson described EIKO as a "business juggernaut" that had "violated the rights of dissidents by confiscating land and property from opponents of the regime, including political opponents, religious minorities, and exiled Iranians."
They also said Khamenei had "direct supervision" of AQR and its "vast economic empire" across multiple sectors, which is subject to sanctions, along with multiple associated entities.

Colorado Rep. Lauren Boebert, who is vocally supportive of Second Amendment rights and her intent to carry a firearm in the Capitol, reportedly got into a standoff with Capitol police who wouldn’t allow her to enter without first searching her bag after the newly-installed metal detector’s security alarm sounded.
Capitol police ultimately let the freshman congresswoman into the House chamber, apparently without searching her bag, according to CNN’s Washington correspondent Ryan Nobles.
