No way. You don't understand Canadians. We are the ones who didn't want freedom when the US revolted. We crush freedom of speech because the people want it. We listen to state run news not because we are forced to, but because we prefer it. We even watch state-made sitcoms. Little Mosque On the Prairies was a real show.
We have an unelected head of state (queen), an unelected prime minister (appointed) and an unelected senate. There is no democracy here.
