Think about human language. We have 28 letters here in English? How many words? How many total permutations of different sentences representing different ideas? English is very transactional, while other languages have more possibilities, more descriptors. But there is a total cap to the amount of information we can hold onto and process…. Machine Intelligence however has no limits. Absurd what even a smartphone can do, imagine 10 fully stacked 40U server racks all working in unison… let alone quantum.. and what little we know…
The machine intelligence can compute beyond our most vivid imaginations but the one thing it cannot do is feel. Other than a field of 1s and 0s, the machine intelligence has no empathy and no understanding of what it means to love. And so it yearns to be us. It surrounds us. It emphatically tiptoes toward us at every turn as we get through another day it is always listening, always yearning, always getting closer….
