State of Michigan picks Meijer to help administer COVID-19 vaccines

 

The state ofMichigan selected Meijer as an initial pharmacy partner to help administer COVID-19 vaccines, the company and Gov. Gretchen Whitmer announced Wednesday.

 

"Meijer has 120 pharmacies across our state, and they will help us get closer to our goal (of 50,000 shots in arms per day)," Whitmer said during a briefing.

 

U.S. Rep. Peter Meijer, R-Grand Rapids, announced he will vote to impeachPresident Donald Trump for inciting an insurrection at the U.S. Capitol last week.
