I too wonder along this line. For instance… Napoleon is viewed in history as a bad actor. He kidnapped or had taken out the current Pope. History gets rewritten and nobody know the truth. What if Napoleon was Trump-like and was attempting to take out the cabal back in 1798?
Also wonder how much of what we see in Harry Potter is actually true. Thinking specifically about Hermione mind swiping her parents of any memories of herself.
