Guy in teh vid says "31 knots!"

Equates to about 36 mph. Yeah, they're not quite top end but definitely running pretty hard. Like doing 80 on the interstate in a pickup truck that tops at 100mph.

Nice. Any info you can provide on the word that our ships are coming back to home waters? Worth exploring.

Boatfag Report

Short summary here. Sweep of major West and East coast Naval ports only.

Norfolk - a couple of unidentified gov't vessels including what I suspect is the USCG Cutter hanging out by the Chessie Bay Bridge Tunnel, as reported yesterday.

Jax - a couple of unidentified UG gov't vessels there also, close to port, to the northeast which puts them in position to monitor the nearby Kings Bay exits just a few nm up the coastline.

Morehead City NC - 5 unidentified US gov't vessels. Cap included.

Boatfag out.

Pearl Harbor - not a single ship on scope

Juan de Fuca and Salish Sea (entrance to Bremerton WA) - a couple of USCG vessels

San Diego - WOW. Count 'em, EIGHT US warships (and yep, all destroyers and a specialized acoustic ship). Cap included.
