FWIW, after viewing the Fulton County video, my tabs started closing down … there was a cascade of failed software. Upon reboot, the boot sector was boiled. Have booted to a CD to get here now. Running current Linux + Firefox + patches.

Anybody know how to rebuild the boot sector on a running Ubuntu install? Or is it time to RTFM again?
