Yeh, their intention is to suppress innocent citizens with whom they'd disagree, and condemn by mere association all who supported Trump, but the effect will now be felt by those agistators rounded up and presurized with charges that may now have been expanded, at least in perception, and they can not be rescued by prosecutors and judges to let 'em off lightly.
Think about it. IF the DEMs are right to impeach Trump on the assumption he goaded people to commit 'domestic terrorism' and insureciton, then, when it turns out those people were supported in many different ways by DEMs, including the BIDEN presidential campaign, then, who becomes impeachable and who is exonerated… Even the RINOS cannot escape what is in store for the DEM leadership.
