The National Rifle Association files for Chapter 11 bankruptcy, will relocate to Texas
On Friday, the National Rifle Association (NRA) — which faces a legal battle in New York state — released a statement announcing that it intends to restructure as a nonprofit based in Texas and has filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protections. NRA Executive Vice President Wayne LaPierre said in a statement that the association is “as financially strong as we have been in years.”
