Lisa Murkowski: House Acted ‘Appropriately Impeaching Donald Trump
Sen. Lisa Murkowski (R-AK) said in a statement Thursday that the Senate acted “appropriately” in impeaching President Donald Trump.
Murkowski, who is up for reelection in 2022, released a statement after the House voted to impeach the 45th president. She said that the president “perpetrated false rhetoric that the election was stolen and rigged.”
She continued:
When he was not able to persuade the courts or elected officials, he launched a pressure campaign against his own Vice President, urging him to take actions that he had no authority to do. On the day of the riots, President Trump’s words incited violence, which led to the injury and deaths of Americans – including a Capitol Police officer – the desecration of the Capitol, and briefly interfered with the government’s ability to ensure a peaceful transfer of power.

And now the evidence is pouring in by the Capitol police that they knew about all this several days before. The Feds are now saying that is was the leftist crowd that started the riots, not the Trump supporters. Why did they sit on this while our President was being impeached? This is why I have nothing but disgust for the left now. Their leaders (and RINO establishment too) are causing great division and I refuse to be nice anymore. To hell with any of them. They are like roaches, all scurrying around to steal our money!!
They threw due process out the window even worse than in the first "impeachment". Both were more like Stalin Show Trials' If Murkowski has no respect for due process, she does not belong in the Senate. I hope someone is gearing up to primary this useless witch. My checkbook will be ready!
