At ~0930 about half the .mil planes showing in the NE quadrant are tankers, KC-135s and KC-10s. 7 out of 17 in this cap.

Nationwide, fully a quarter are flying gas stations.

Around DC watched a tanker land and a little while later is airborne again and in the area. Assumed refueled and back up to feed the combat air patrols doing overwatch.
