A thought about John Sullivan being released to house arrest.

 

For anons who read EXPARTE Milligan, it was decided that the Military cannot try civilians in a Military Court unless the civilian Court system has been rendered defunct. They have authority to detain them during certain times such as rebellion or insurrection until a civilian court system can be brought back up.

Furthermore, he would have SC challenges ( think placeholder drop) about enemy combatant status.

Don't take his release as corruption winning. He is still under arrest at his house so that should tell anons what is happening
