I was wondering the same. Remember his comment about a New President and New Vice President will be sworn in?
Is he the "acting president" right now? There is a reason they kept trying to rush that impeachment. I couldn't connect what may be happening b/c the wikipedia post mentioned there had to be subsequent conviction in the Senate (which there wasn't).
