I went there in the late 70's or early 80's to the Beach Boys "Great Smoke In" Rally. I remember walking right up to the Monuments, touching them and seeing them in real life. From that aspect, seeing our Nations History and Monuments was awesome!

The underbelly of DC was sickening though, even then. Horrible poverty in the side streets, Nudie Bars and Head Shops were more prevalent than actual helpful businesses. Street urchins controlled the place at night, and it was worse than any ghetto I've ever been around.

Anon, if I had my way, this shit show would have been over with a year ago. The ending would have been really bad for every commie involved in this, elected, appointed, or civilian employee or supporter. The Law would have been enforced and those that had committed any treason up to that point would now be long gone.
