I can't speak on the math but it seems to me that Q's drops, the corpus that it forms, could be a hologram. Please hear me out. Holography is a fairly new science. The method, in imaging, was advanced by Dennis Gabor in the 1940s and was not demonstrable until lasers made it possible in the 1960s (Gabor was awarded the Nobel Prize for it in 1971); while the first Star Wars showed a hologram in 1977, it wasn't until recent decades that actual holographic images (like on currency) became commonplace. Rapper Tupac was shown as a hologram on stage at Coachella in 2012.
There is no literature or studies that I can find on the idea of holographic texts, or holographic writing. But this is what Q's drops remind me of. A hologram is a 3d image represented on a 2d medium; where a photograph is an image made by light penetrating a lens, a hologram is a recording of a light field: DARKNESS TO LIGHT.
A hologram differs from a photograph in that it's self-referential; all parts of a hologram contains the whole. WHERE WE GO ONE, WE GO ALL.
If you take a printed hologram and cut it in half, both halves will contain the original image, albiet at lower resolutions. This continues as you slice them up. Although not the same, I find it interesting that the first drop seems like a very low-res summary of the entire operation. The more drops you read, the sharper in focus you seem to get. The same with deltas – looking at what's happening this month and finding deltas from the same dates going back past years is giving us much more information and clarity than we would have had.
There's obviously something very compelling about Q. And nothing is as it appears.
