I noticed my Android 9 yesterday downloading something in the background. I caught it just before it finished. It was play services. Thankfully a while back, I shut off the permissions for Play Services, Play Store, and Most of Samsungs Apps to make or allow changes to the Phone. As well, a while back, I bought SuperFreezZ and installed it, and froze all three Updaters built in to the OS.

The other day I called VZW about this, and got referred to a fucking chat, as usual. They did not deny an update, only that they did not know when it was coming. They're doing nothing to block it, and seem to be on board with the act of shutting off critical functionality for the safety of their Customers. TREASON.

Yeah, I've seen something like that. This is the first Phone I've owned that I haven't rooted. HUGE mistake. XDA Developers is usually my go-to for phone shit. I did remove all the bloat including fb and it's 3 hidden services before ever inserting a SIM in this, and have never been to their page. No twat no nothing installed that gives up more than I want. Also have taken hours to shut off permissions for what I did install that wasn't needed. I'll look again at that noroot fw. I'm running AdGuard and it's VPN. Never an Ad - ever! Also search pages change language based on vpn location I choose, so I know it works. 80 bucks for lifetime 3 device. Recommend. Does the noroot allow direct editing of host file? No root, so probably not. Besides, gaggle made sure they have about a thousand IP's that they push from that are not DNS searchable, so directly inserting a loopback would be nearly impossible. fuckin commies.
