Does anyone remember a few years back that shit with the Treasury Directory Accounts that anyone could log into using their name and social security? Like there were legit bank accounts in everyone’s name and the account number was your SSN. I remember a big case of a few who were fighting court cases over it, HATJ (Heather Anne……) was one I remember, it was crazy shit. This reminded me of it.
Weird part was you had to link the bank account with all cap name, even one lowercase or misspelling or wrong number on the SNN/account number and the account wouldn’t link. But if all correct you could link some mysterious treasury bank account that has your name on it to things like Amazon and PayPal etc. one dude spent millions and is in prison I believe, but it’s just fucking strange that the accounts are in peoples names. They were referred to as “straw man accounts” ands

I believe so, same as US, we are all corporation entities, not technically living people. That’s why bills and shit come in the mail all caps, crazy world we live in when you really think about it
