I thought the same until someone I know died. Had major underlying conditions and just could not overcome the covid. A friend right now on life support - same thing. I think it's like the flu, easy to recover if healthy, but deadly if already immunocompromised. Either that, or there are 2 strains. My friend on life support went from normal life to ventilator in 3 days time, but thankfully is beginning to recover.
