Was the STERLING fire real??? NOT in Virginia!
I’m pissed. I drove there today to get daylight pics of the exact scene, and there was no evidence of a fire last night. I drove the whole neighborhood west of Walmart, east of the Redskins’ practice facility, north of Dulles, both sides of rt. 28 in Sterling, VA. I spoke to a Loudoun County Sheriff’s Deputy and he said no fires last night. I spoke to the security guard in the booth at that data storage facility, and no fires nor sounds of sirens all night. I spoke to an armed private security guard at two other buildings up the hill on Severn and he was on duty from 7pm and nothing. Finally I got mad enough to go to the Fire Department and blatantly ask. He was on all night and he said no fires last night period. He said there were a couple small ones in the last week, but nothing at all last night. I was in uniform, so I don’t think they were lying to me. WTF waste my time?
