Agreed. He uses persuasion techniques to draw people in, ask questions, provide information in a way they can hear which sometimes means throwing Q under the bus, and then saying, "Oh look, new information just came in, so if THAT'S true then…" after laying a foundation of understanding.
He pisses me off at times, but that's what I think he's doing.
