Please don’t scream at me, I just have a question.

So this post bothers me. It clearly indicates simple cryptography, Caesar cipher, decoder rings of the 50’s, etc. But Q’s sample code is just a rudimentary example of cryptography ex, 4=D, 10=J, 20=T, decodes to DJT.

You can’t transmit classified material with basic cryptography. You must use approved cryptology, which is way more complex, I don’t think it can be done.

So in basic encryption I might use an ‘offset’ or ‘KEY’ for example:

A=B would be an offset of 1, or a ‘Key’ of 1.

A=C would be an offset of 2, or a ‘Key’ of 2.

I see over and over that the ‘graphic’ is the ‘Key’. In basic cryptography the ‘Key’ is the offset that unlocks the message. How is a graphic the ‘Key’? It can’t be, it’s just a graphic. But I also see this, “Follow the money, it’s the key”

Here’s my final question, if you use the graphic to create a who’s who of “Follow the Money” isn’t that the ‘Key’ to the ‘40,000 foot’ classified view?

I don’t know, I might just be dumb. But if I was a prosecutor, that’s what I'd do.
