So what if the entire 'insurrection' was to create the casus belli for NG deployment.
Because they knew that NG was already compromised by Chinese et al.
So now we have 25k troops surrounding DC, with some unknown number of them Chinese spies/operatives to deliver a massive stroke against the government on inauguration.
THAT is why they don't have weapons.
The question is whether someone pre-deployed them for those operatives.
