immy was qualified to fly the B-36 and the B-47, both of which were seen in the film. He was also qualified to fly the B-17 and the B-24, the latter of which he flew on combat missions in World War Two. He also was qualified to fly B-52s and he flew as an observer on combat missions over Vietnam.
