I'm not sure the iPhone has a 'hosts' file.

A workaround I heard about last week was OpenDNS. I'm pretty sure if you look it up, there's something you can do.

Search for OpenDNS for iphone and see.

I'll do a quick search too to see if I can help.

Don't answer that.

So go to your Wifi settings- where you choose your network.

Click the little 'i' next to your network

scroll down til you see something about 'configure DNS settings' or something

It should be set to 'Automatic'

click it.

Change it to 'Manual'

click 'add server'

and type in one of these 2:

208.67.222.222

208.67.220.220

Those are the OpenDNS servers.

When you do that, click the server you just typed in, and then click save.

This gets you away from Google's bullshit.

If you ever want to go back to the way it was- say something stops working for you-

Just put it back on automatic

Hope it works for you
