Out of curiosity, was thinking about it today, HOW IN THE HELL did Merkel and Macron think they had the slightest of 0.001% of chance to make Trump change his mind on the Iran deal? How in the hell did the EU think that too???

they did have a choice of just NOT coming in here for this reason, it was a lose/lose situation (maybe not so much for macron, they seemed buddy enough)
Moreso, it just probably made them look pretty stupid in the eye of the president.
