I just finished a book on the Smithsonian Institute and the Seneca Quarry. Which just happens to also be just across the river from Trump's golf course.
Somebody on here led me to the book, don't even know why. Lot of history and questions but nothing I can directly relate to this, other than the aqueduct was vital to the hauling of the stone and getting goods upriver during the civil war. Lot of destroying and rebuilding of the aqueduct during the civil war over control of the river.
