A connoisseur of cymbals.

I concur. Zildjian has always had a richer, broader response than any other.

As loud as cymbals can be, it's amazing the sounds you can get from a lighter touch on a well-made cymbal like Zildjian.

I agree.

We're better.

No one put the flautists or horns at the head of the columns marching into battle in the 18th Century, nor were they armed.

Drummers carried swords.

They also carried the cat-o-nine, responsible for unit discipline and punishment.

The fiercest of drummers studded their cat-o-nines with metal bits to ensure no one strayed out of line and experienced their wrath.

And yet, drummers are still able to do such tonal, musical things as play the vibraphone, marimba, xylophone and glockenspiel, as well as the timpani.

So…we agree.

Maybe flying in the set for the movie?

Props. All good stages need props.

Otherwise you just end up with fake air imaginary things in peoples' hands…
