Evil is not 'out there', but 'in here'. It is does not need to be summoned in the way it's been portrayed, deliberately so. But first, you need to define what evil is.

What lies are you talking about? Traveling vast distances in space would better done without the hindrance of mass. Look up light as in massless photons, bosons and BECs.
Not sure who you're referring to but the concept of 'massless' exists. Waves carry energy without mass.
