Anons, it seems that all of the forces in DC are a reactive measure. If they were truly requested by Biden and the DS, why would there be so much fear? Canceling the rehearsal, guards w/o magazines, vetting based on politics?

We know that one of the drops mentioned POTUS would be insulated aboard AF1. It just so happens that Trump moved his flight to Mar a Lago to just a few hours before Biden's inauguration so that he could fly on AF1 under the call sign one last time. Having a farewell speech at JBA.

Normally presidents start civilian life by flying on a different government aircraft after their successor is inaugurated. He loses access to Air Force One and that call sign at noon.

Was the vetting of the troops/inside attack scare announced before or after Trump announcing his final flight will be just before inauguration?

There's also this post about a parade that seems very interesting to me. Biden is having a virtual parade for his inauguration. The original parade on 11/11/18 was postponed.
